Black Tulip’s business has grown nearly exclusively through referrals. Recently, we joined a BNI Chapter in order to further grow our business. Within a short time we have received multiple leads, some of which have already been converted into new clients.
If you are not familiar with BNI, this is how it works: once a week small business owners, one from each business category, meet over breakfast and exchange information about their own business to allow other members of the group look for referrals. Referrals, rather than advertising or direct mail, has worked best for Black Tulip. Trust and quality of service has been key to the growing of our business. Happy clients will refer. Through BNI we have taken it a step further by proactively referring others who in turn help us generate more business.
